one of the greatest Aikido "Sensei's" - i studied under him in Denver. He is the real thing.Aikido should be part od gym class, everywhere - then the world will be a better place.

If you are interested in a good introduction to Akido. this book is a pretty good place to start.English is not the authors first language. but he has done extremely well in conveying the message. The illustrations are a bit crude in my opinion. I have no right to complain because I doubt I could do as well.I must say one thing in praise of this book. At least this book deals exclusively with the subject of Aikido. Very much unlike "The Way of Aikido" that I reviewed earlier. If you have questions or comments; E-mail me. Two Bears.Wah doh Ogedoda (We give thanks Great Spirit)

THIS LITTLE BOOK IS A GOOD INTRODUCTION TO SOME OF THE PRICIPLES OF AIKIDO AND HAS SOME VERY GOOD IDEAS IN IT.

Learn about the simplicities and principles behind aikido...One may imagine learning more about Aikido in this book than other bigger tomes about this exotic japanese martial art.Great book for the beginning martial artist who chooses to study aikido.

This is a great book about Aikido. You can see all kinds of glowing reviews on it at Amazon if you look, because it's still in print. I gave it one star here because it's listed at exorbitant prices. Don't pay $60+ for a used copy when you can get a new copy for 12.95. It's a five star book at current list price. It's just a ripoff at collector prices like those listed for the used version.
